Every Wednesday at 7:30pm, a small group of us gather for an evening of mindfulness and community. We practice one hour of inner stillness (meditation), reflect on the weekly reading with each other, and share dinner together.
This is a space offered with great love and inspired by many others around the world. There are no teachers or agendas, and there is no cost to attend. The hour of meditation is silent (not guided and no music) so each individual is able to practice as they wish. If you need a primer on meditation, this guide might be helpful.
If you would like to join a gathering, please sign up to the right. Then, you will receive an email every weekend sharing the location of the week’s gathering. Locations rotate between hosts’ apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
By signing up, you will also be notified about special events. For instance, we hold day-long retreats about twice a year, like this retreat at a volunteer’s home in New Jersey. We also hold service activities such as this joyous day of service in Washington Square Park.
