The Grandest Vision For Humanity

Who am I in this vast unfathomable universe , the extent of which humans have to yet to completely discover . A tiny insignificant dot , It boggles the mind . And yet man's ego is so big that he still tries to discover the source of life and play God by trying to be immortal . It is a humbling experience to dream about the universe and it's origins .

"If you wish to find yourself (God) lose yourself in the service of  humanity" said MKGandhi. When you serve with head-heart-hands you get more than what you give.Human life is an opportunity to be full of gratitude, generosity, sympathy & empathy. These are the natural innate attributes of our eternal SOUL.Achievement of this is my Vision,Mission, purpose, story and meaning of life.

"We must fight that humanity’s purpose was not just about sustenance and survival". Let's say all humans and all living things now all agree that sustenance / survival is not even a purpose of them, what change would that bring to us? Who will you be? How would you live your life? How would you be related to your environment, your friends, your family?

Why would you want to fight what is here and now? We are free (maybe) to choose a purpose for our live but we do not need to fight life itself,  the very thing that everything else that we know is built on. May all beings be happy, and be peaceful.

We are all interconnected: tiny dots together becoming something larger and more beautiful when viewed from a distance. When we take the time to view the beauty through the connection; that is the key for me in our survival. As individual dots we may seem small and insignificant, ah, but together, there is the beauty. <3 And yes to Jeannie. I am only one, but I AM ONE.... <3

This is the first Awakin post that I disagree with. I *choose* to believe in the line of all great wisdom traditions that the universe knows me, is me, and we are all inextricably connected. But I honor the author’s beliefs.

Last four weeks have been full of digital turmoil.. damaged phone, loss of complete data, important information and I sincerely sought for some guidance and help to retain my center amidst the chaos to be able to take the next necessary steps. Last night got a beautiful start to Deepak Chopra & Oprah's 21 days free online meditation course, which brought me back a bit more into the alignment and balance. The topic of the course is "Desire & Destiny". With the help of it (guided meditation and journaling), I started my process to clarify my intentions and to align my life actions to them. Then this piece in the morning "spoke" to.me... the word that stands out in this piece is a opportunity to "manifest" in this time and world. I felt a lot of resonance in the synchronicity. When I opened the newspaper I see Times of India's masthead celebrating my icon of non-violent manifestation Nelson Mandela's birthday today. 17/18th July 2017 will now remain in my memory, as the date... We're not unimportant in the sequence of the eternal everything.  Each and every atom, cell, and being is important.  As the author says, each dot and microdot in a painting is part of an intricate scene.  Likewise, each of us is important, and the universe would be different without any one of us.  The universe is expressing and evolving through each of us.  As we know who we are, the universe knows who we are.  I know life and the whole universe are fragile and existence is precarious.  I know the earth and humanity could destruct or could go on and grow further.  Still I have a grand vision for humanity.  I learned long ago that growth is inexorable, that we are here to blossom and become all that we are, not just sustain and survive, and that learning stays with me.  P.S.  The bio says the author is an enthusiast of cognitive psychology.  That's so narrow.  Psyche is life, much more than cognitive.  I recommend ...  What am I in this vast universe? Who am I in this vast universe? Am I a dot in this vast universe? Am I living organism in this vast universe? From a micro perspective I am a separate isolated dot or entity. From a macro perspective, I am an integral part of the larger whole. And from a cosmic perspective, I am the whole, I am one with the cosmos, I am the cosmos. When it comes to living in this world, our energy is primarily invested for sustaining and surviving.on a personal and tribal level. Meeting such basic needs creates bonding and interconnectedness. One dot gets connected with another dot creating a string of several  interconnected dots. How do we relate to one another is an ongoing challenge for us as a human kind not only for our survival as human kind but also for the survival of our mother planet.  We all need to join our heads, hearts and hands to encounter this universal challenge. Wisdom traditions have been urging us to wake up from the illusion of sep... View full comment
