Einstein never said this. People often falsely attribute quotes ot Albert Einstein that he never said, or quote him out of context to suggest he believed in things which he didn't. It's so common there's even a word for them: "Neinsteins". This is one of the most common Neinsteins online, and seems to make an appearance every year around US Thanksgiving time. It's a favorite of people who falsely claim that Einstein was religious (he wasn't) or believed in god (he didn't) or had New Agey spiritual leanings (nope).

Unless it is the case that a butterflies emergence from a caterpillar that has evolved from the first spark of life that mysteriously occured on a planet that somehow came into being as the consequence of an explosion of energy 14 billion years ago is evidence of the miraculous.....
At the end of the day it is about the story we tell ourselves in our heads - and if that story says there is no such thing as a miracle - then that is the evidence we will see everywhere - biut if the stroy we tell ourselves is that it is all miraculous - then that is the evidence we will see.

I like this it seems I'm learning a lot about Einstein these days there is an exercise in the little book Kathy sent us that calls for us to do something with hangers and hold them and it's supposed to prove that we are in electrical field I love to see the zopm.
All that is, living and not living, present, past, and to come, including us, is one. We live for one another in the sense that we are thoroughly interrelated, which means every thing and every one is constantly affecting and being affected by every thing and every one else. This is happening not because we are trying to or intending to, not because we must, not because we are responsible for one another, and not because any one or any thing exists for the purpose of the other, all of which are human made ideas. It's happening because that's the way it is. Our journeys are thoroughly interrelated. All is one, and it is all a miracle.

At times I cant see the miracle/grace in my life. I try to remember that seeing The Miracle is like looking for a tree in a forest. We can not exist without a trillion miracles per second. The everyday garden variety miracle of breath, touch, existence.

Indeed. I realisenow that you must see it absolutely one way or another. You cannot see somethings as miracles and others not - as that only creates resistance to what you don't deem miraculous and obsessive yearning for what you do.
Or trying to pretend something is 'normal' when you truly feel itwouldbe a miracle to have in your life, then pretend the 'normal' is miraculous in order to try and make yourself feel better. Which doesn't work.
Instead, deciding everything is one or the other is the answer. And, for me, seeing that everything is a miracle feels incredible - which it is.
However, living your life for others is nice, but living your life for others and yourself - and what truly lights you up - is better.

Name of Albert Einstein is in itself a confirmation to the fact that his thought are not to be take lightly.
Yes I will like to add in his comments that today world has become a global village but advancement in technology particularly communication technology has made us a prisoner in our own place. Now our need to go out has almost become zero. With the communication gadgets we get every thing done while sitting at home as such purpose of our going out is getting almost nil. Now even if we go out we have nothing to see other than traffic Jams.
We need places out to visit and people to communicate in person rather than through Phone, Laptops and whatsapp, Skype or face time.
yeah now i got washed off by the date it was posted,. nov .18,2002. but im quite wondering if this was truly einstein since he already passed on the year 1995.

This idea of Unity or everything being one with and the result of everything else is an ancient Hindu (Dharmic) idea and is rendered and explored in all Dharmic literature, including the Vedas and the Upanishads. Albert Einstein among others including Henry David Thoreau were influenced by Vedic thought and considered the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads to be some of the most influential books ever written.
The biggest Miracle is that only human beings can smile. No other creature has been endowed with this privilege, but the strangest thing is that, we do not want to smile and show others a cheerful face, to make ourselves and others happy.
I do agree "Only a life lived for others is worth living." The simple thing is said so wonderfully that in had a life long impact on my life.
