Somewhere someone needs help.
Send love.
It matters.

If you can't get there yourself,
Then take a deep breath.
Breathe in the weight of their troubles,
Breathe out and send all those burdens
into the Light
Where sorrows can be held
With the most tender and infinite grace.

Breathe in what you can do.
Breathe out what you can't change.
Spool out a thread of connection.
Send courage and calm.
For the nights can be long
And filled with shadows
And sometimes terrible
Unexpected waters will rise.

Somewhere someone needs help.
Send love.
It matters.

'Send Love' is the message that connects me to God and to others - allows me to ask God for His care and protection for me and to All. I Trust God sees and hears every prayer.

Being able to remember when all else seems hopeless we can send love to those in need helps me raise my vibration from one of despair. It stops thoughts of negativity that are linked to feeling we can't do anything.
By repeating this act we can come closer to realising we are love.
Sending love is a beautiful act.

Yesterday I spoke to my brother who lives in Seattle. I live in Boston. He has been going through a tough time and I have felt helpless. I found this prayer immensely comforting. I needed it today. I will probably need it every day!
Gratefully,

Lisa, I hope that you are crafting your own phrases as well that speak best you and your situation. My oldest son is going through a tough time also. If I might, being present and listening is helpful. You are sharing love.
May your brother heal.
May you be at ease.
May you share love and know the presence of the Transcendent One.

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. I have recently started meditating and have realized that one can send out love, peace & joy. The other thing I have started doing is, if I remember someone, I take a few seconds to send them a msg of remembrance and best wishes. I have found people respond with joy and return the same. It has helped me reconnect with people.

The practice of Loving Kindness immediately comes to mind. As the purpose of a mindful meditation share 3 or 4 thoughts, first with yourself, then with maybe a friend, a loved one, someone who challenges you and close with all living beings.
Phrases could be -- May your heart be open to share love; May you be safe and protect others; may you be happy and share joy; may you be healthy and care for others and may you know the Spirit's presence.

Love your suggested prayers , in that they recognize that those we pray for can reach out in love to those around them too and thereby be strengthened from within as well.

Sending love to someone needing help means to me to abide in awareness of our oneness and be compassionate and suffer their distress together with them. I have breathed in the pain of the Ukrainian people by abiding in awareness that I and they are one, their pain is my pain, and by suffering at least to a small extent their pain together with them. I believe what helps the most would be to send all of me to physically be there and suffer together with them what they are suffering. It would of course be impractical and very difficult to be there with them, but it could be done. To say I can't doesn't make it so. My honest answer as to why I don't physically go there and be there with them is I don't care enough, it would be more difficult to do than I want to do, so I send my love by being there with them in awareness. I believe that helps a little.

"Somewhere someone needs help. Send love. It matters." writes Carrie Newcomer. Yes. We all sometimes need love to sustain life. When someone needs my loving and supportive hand I feel compassion for that person and I do whatever I can. When I offer my hand uncnditionally to the other my heart is filled with love and joy. I believe all of us are endowed with the gift of love. When I send love to someone who needs help I experince oneness with the other person. It is fulfilling and joyful. It is a spiritual experince , an experience of untive consciousness. We are witnessing a horrible war in Ukraine causing property and human destruction, innocent people suffering and dying. "Somewhere someone needs help." I deeply feel for people going through such suffering. I have chosen to breathe in the weight of their suffering. I pray for them and make financial contrbutions to help them. I know there are many obstacles the Ukrainians are facing at this time. I know I am not capable of ... View full comment

Very thoughtful beautiful post, Japdish P Dave. We do what we can in sending our vibrations of higher frequency of love and compassion. Sending love and light to both Ukraine and to Russia that this may end soon and healing begins. ~Namaste
