In general I agree but I'd like to ask for some clarification on this part...

"We would organize with the perspective that there is wisdom and experience and amazing story in the communities we love, and instead of starting up new ideas/organizations all the time, we would want to listen, support, collaborate, merge, and grow through fusion, not competition."

Why is having new ideas or organizations bad? They can be from love. They do not have to be in competition with each other. Perhaps you can give an example?

Just wanted to say how much the reading today moved me. I do believe we need love to turn our world around towards life, not destruction. I know it is important for me myself to live love as fully as I can. How to get the leaders of the world to sit by themselves and each other, to listen to their hearts and each others with love and not fear or dominant aggession.? What can the normal person do to bring love to the leasers?

„Love. Love. Love. Love is all we need.“ Part of the lyrics from a song of The Beatles.

Many songs and poems and essays talk about the importance of love. In fact, the word love is probably being used by most people all over the world; however, the word love is being used to convey so many different meanings.

„I love your cake! It is delicious. How did you find the movie? I love it! I love you (as in I want to go to bed with you). Love for money is the root of all evil.“

Maybe I have to examine first what I think love love means to me before I start using it to move others. I think, how we understand love is essential to what our actions will be.

Agape. Unconditional love. Regardless of the situation or the people. To serve and to share whatever with each other as an expression of gratitude for being alive and witness to the wonders of life and nature.

I would love to see this happen!

Love is the foundation of all thriving and deepening relationships. When we join our hearts, heads and hands together our life thrives and flourishes intrapersonally and interpersonally, in our families, communities and in oraganizations. As the author says," When we are engaged in acts of love, we humans are our best and most resilient." Love is the core foundation of all realtionships not only to survive but also to thrive. What I am saying is based on my personal experiences at all stages of relationships in my families, freinds, in my intimate relationaship, societal and professional relationships. I have lived and grown in extended families all my life. I learnt the art of relating to differences by listening to each other with open ears, open mind and open heart. I have learnt to let go of my irrational, inflexible and rigid opinions and ideas and to be fluid and flexible and appreciative of ideas and opnions of other members of the family. I also learnt how to appreciate som... View full comment

For me, love is oneness. In the largest sense, love is the oneness of all existence. Awareness of oneness means very much to me. When I live from that awareness in relation to myself, others, and all that is, I live and organize in love. In relating to those with very different political views than my own, I fail in living in love. I remind myself that though we are very different in viewpoints, we are one, and I still get myself agitated and distant very quickly -- I have a lot of work to do in that situation. What helps me go deeper in my relationships is awareness that we are different yet we are one and we have much more in common than is different. What also helps me is caring, listening, being respectful, and being open and honest, and awareness of oneness helps me with all that.

with my family i have set a personal goal to increase the love instead of "being right." It has been a transformative practice as i have learned that love will manifest moment to moment what is needed. Love does what is needed and that is not always the same thing. As i have tuned into this energy of Love i have fundamentally changed and i see my family differently now.

I believe we can have the most impact on relationships with the energy of Love. I believe we can become Love. I believe it is the only thing that can bring together divided groups in a way that is authentic. it has worked well in my family. I just wonder what it could do for the human family.

may you all press forward in the good work of love!

This is a powerful insight and lodestar idea for organizations to follow. I've had a dream for many years that I wanted to help build an organization that would contribute to the the birth of a new humanity. Adrienne Marre Brown's words affirm this dream is possible and what is required of us. Thank you for amplifying her thoughts!
