Originally from Haiti, Rachelle danced on stage in her father's dance group to the rhythm of Haitian drums and got her well-known sense of groove through these powerful rhythms as early as age 4. After a two-year world tour as a back-up vocalist for Celine Dion, Rachelle Jeanty chose to leave the “luxury cruise ship” of popular music in order to remain true to her inner calling and follow her own path. While on her music tours, she met a young woman who introduced her to a life-transforming meditation practice that helped her transcend the roadblocks and challenges she was experiencing in her personal journey. Combining music and meditation in her "Spirit of Joy" workshops and concerts, she has toured all over Europe and in Morocco, Kenya, and Taiwan to share the joy of singing and self-realization through the power of Sahaja Meditation.
