Stephen Lewis, a catalyst of transformation and healing, was shaped by the medicine-making activities within his grandparents' kitchen. Today, he is an organizational change strategist and leadership development specialist who has worked for 20 years to inspire the next generation of artists, healers, freedom fighters, faith-inspired leaders, and entrepreneurs to live and work on purpose. He has created an accelerator for underrepresented and under-resourced social entrepreneurs developing businesses that do good in the world. What he learned and experienced in his grandparents' kitchen continues in his work of cultivating faith-rooted change-makers and centering BIPOC leaders' lived experiences and reflections on the Sacred. An ordained Christian minister, he has explored mystic traditions of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, and has reclaimed "the spiritual giftedness of his own twoness -- being both African and American" by excavating the African spiritual wisdom and genius that runs through his blood.
