Speaker: Mingtong Gu

Wisdom Healing & Demonstration from the Qigong Master

Please join us for a special conversation and demonstration workshop with Mingtong Gu, an international master teacher of Zhineng (Wisdom Healing) Qigong, author, and healer, as he shares his own journey through trauma, and guides us in practices for personal and global wellbeing.

During dynamic times like these, daily practices can build resilience and calm. Qigong (“chi” means life energy, “gong” means cultivation) is an embodied consciousness practice developed in China over 5,000 years, more recently revitalized through quantum science and holistic medicine. Through integrated movement, visualization, and sound, Wisdom Healing Qigong can awaken energy, creativity, and consciousness to release and transform stress—including chronic stress that contributes to illness or injury.

Master Mingtong was named Qigong Master of the Year by the 13th World Congress for Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Trained by Grandmaster Pang Ming at the famous “Medicineless Hospital” in China and educated in the US, Master Mingtong has a gift for translating the language and culture of ancient Eastern wisdom traditions to the mind-centric West. In addition to Zhineng Qigong, Tibetan Buddhism and Taoism also inform his teachings. He is on faculty at Esalen Institute, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and is the founder of The Chi Center in Santa Fe, NM, where he lives with his wife, Linling, also a gifted healer, and their two children.

Join Awakin hosts Kozo Hattori and Cynthia Li, MD, for this unique. immersive learning experience. Both Kozo and Cynthia have experienced this master teacher and the power of the collective qi field.  Their own respective personal healing journeys have defied scientific explanation.
