My guess is that one can experience the song of love by openly noticing. I remember reading William Penn's quote on a Chicago bus advertisement many years ago. I was touched when I read it and I'm touched today when I think of it. It reads: "I will pass this way but once, any good, therefore, that I may do, or any kindness that I may show, to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglected it for shall not pass this way again. As Gandhi said: "There is no way to peace. Peace is the way," so too there may be no way to a song of love other than through openly noticing. I am also reminded of Thomas Keating's quote: "God's first language is silence. All else is a poor translation." I am also reminded of Francis of Assisi who in so many words said, always be peaceful and kind. Use words if necessary.. His quote is: "Preach the gospel always. Use words if necessary." Thanks for the opportunity to respond. Warm and kind regards to everyone.
