When i read the article I realized that my listening is growing in these stages, that I had never really analyzed the way this has been articulated in such a spectacular way here. Over the recent past I believe that with Spiritual growth and turning within and seeing the splendor of the spirit within, I have moved on to the 3rd stage of listening where my 11 year old daughter is concerned. I have been looking at myself more as a spiritual partner to her which has enabled me to switch to this 3rd level of listening and connecting with her at a deeper level.
The 4th level of listening is a tremendous shift in energy and consciousness and I recently had the opportunity to practice this in being a vessel of consciousness to close friends of ours going through a very difficult time. I am beginning to see this shift and will continue on this path as it brings so much joy and peace within that is hard to explain in words sometimes. I am so grateful for this sacred space and know we are all once consciousness bound by this invisible source that speaks from within the depths of our soul, the 4th dimension.

"As thought shapes the shaper"....so well put. So in essence we go into this abyss with a cascade of thought after thought that probably originated from a wrong or incorrect thought in the first place, again based on our past beliefs. We need to understand from what beliefs these thoughts originated from and let them go. We have to eventually break this chain of becoming our thoughts and learn to know that we are not our thoughts!

This is so true especially with close relationships, where we tend to focus on the negatives and now I understand why they seem to be glaring down on me each time I want to make a change for the better. The focus is so much on the errors and what things should not be like that they are pretty soon compounded and a Molehill becomes a mountain :-). I needed this lesson today.
