Similar to Carlo Carretto’s “Letters from the Desert “ where he writes “to become small and poor in our work, the things that matter to a Christian.” Also Jesus’s teaching about losing one’s self to find real life. A very profound poem worthy of much meditation. Very far from the contemporary mind set!
