1 Corinthians 13:4-7, love is patient love is kind it does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self seeking. It is not easily anger. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth it always protects always trust always hopes always preserves. Growing up in a Christian household around Valentine’s Day this verse is alway replayed in my head, and I think it is the perfect way to describe love. It has guided me through life and will continue to do so.
