Cynthia: Yeah. So, Kim asks, would the heart exhibit coherence at the beginning of a relationship that starts with infatuation, but ultimately evolves into an unhealthy one that's toxic or dysfunctional? She's just trying to figure out if people's hearts may actually know something that they don't pay attention to that has a huge impact on one's life.
Rollin McCraty: Well, whether the HRV in the beginning is going to show that quite that black and white, but I don't know. But I would suspect, at least from my own experience, that if we really can take that deeper... And really get quiet. Do heart-focused breathing and really ask our own larger self, is this an appropriate relationship? To really access our own deeper intuition. Yeah, it does probably know. A lot of times, we just don't want to hear the answer.
Cynthia: I know, that's the challenge with heart intelligence, right? Is we become more attuned, and then how are you going to respond? Because the information may not take us where we want to go.
Rollin McCraty: I'll just share this, Cynthia. This is something Doc Childry said a few months ago. He was talking about the difference between heart and mind, right? And the mind— I just cracked up. He said, the mind doesn't want to lose customers. Right? So it's very tricky. About how it can override. Because we can get a clear intuition.
