I feel that I am constantly reaping what others have a sown and same goes the other way round.. as I write I am thinking of the barren land I moved to with my family in another country I had not visited before and where I was a foreigner and had to make a home and am still doing that 42 years later... We have transformed this once batten land where not a tree nor a bush had taken roots and just this morning looking out I look into trees and orange coloured flowers which by now have taken over. I do not see anymore what I saw 42 years ago. I see abundance and overgrowth , I have made this a home and a land of plenty... This we have down and many people by now coming or passing here believe this has always been like this and they benefit from the house we have built and the wild garden they meet. AND
I too have reaped from what I have sown, I have changed in the process of sowing and co creating this land . I witness the interconnection of this process and this offered here question on reaping and sowing is helping me to bring some more awareness to this process of mine .
I am also reaping the fruits of my forefathers ideas, otherwise I would not for example have a washing machine here today to ease my life... And people around can see by the land that was sowed how much potential there is living and possible right under their feet .
This is just a metaphor for so many other processes be they on any level, physical, mental, spiritual..hence I can see we are constantly sowing and reaping and all is interconnected.
I have always chosen fear as my one way out and as a response to any given moment I felt was too much ,I have always gone for fear and No , made promises to myself I never acted upon, when in reality I felt frozen and numbed in and by fear, totally in its grip...
This article on groundlessness and the possibility of choosing curiosity feels like a call from a world I do not inhabit easily if ever at all .
I feel right now in my life receiving a life line into another way and another possibility to deal with and see the moment I live in which is one of uncertainty and deep overwhelm..I hear that there is and must be another way, a call to growing and living true responsibility within the unknown and I feel the call to see and explore possibility and a commitment to Yes instead of No...Respond to what is given to me from a new place. Thank you
