Genuinely remaining open to other people's stories is something that doesn't always come naturally to me. When it does, it has been magical for me, for the other or both. This morning, a friend shared that she recently observes palm trees wondering how they can stand so tall and be so flexible and not fall . Suddenly she understood that they must be well grounded in order to be so flexible!! Then she understood how this is about her.....and I realized how it also is about me......

I read in a fiction book something said by a young healer to a man who had an emotional "breakdown". Something like : I hope you heal slow enough so that you will have enough time to learn all of the lessons you can from this ....... I identify deeply with this. HYLT 🙏
