And the truth, He had my back.  His presence blanketed me in His love.  Like a weighted lap wrap, He secured me.  Answered prayer confirms His promise to faithfully be my Heavenly Aide.  At 57 years old, I can reflect back on just about every aspect of life where I see His physical hand at work ... Holding me ... Giving me people and love to fill in every void of my earthly journey.  Thank You Father!

R. (33a) Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
A bountiful rain you showered down, O God, upon your inheritance;
you restored the land when it languished;
Your flock settled in it;
in your goodness, O God, you provided it for the needy.
R. Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
Blessed day by day be the Lord,
who bears our burdens; God, who is our salvation.
God is a saving God for us;
the LORD, my Lord, controls the passageways of death.
R. Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.

Everyday I grieve.  This world IS NOT my Home.  I have NO control over my next moment ... And so I have to fill my void with the One Who does!
Faith, Hope and Love in/of God satisfies like no one/thing else.  Life to Death and back again ... Jesus keeps us connected.

This week's reading  made me immediately think of my little brother Steve!  Earlier this month my sister Vicki and I picked up my brother at his home in Escanaba, MI and took him to Marquette for a cardiac procedure to correct his Supravantricular Tachycardia.  Having had this from birth, he was always mindful of his heart intermittently and randomly beating out of his chest.  For a life time, he he did nothing about it.  Fear of doctors, hospitals, needles, medication (in addition to a multitude of other irrational fears) kept my brother from any form of preventative health care.  Well, to make a long story short, my dad almost died this past summer.  (I, too, had to get him to the hospital to correct his "electrical" cardiac problem).  Dad, today, (at 83) is brand new!  Steve, upon seeing Dad go from "death to life" with one (God monitored) procedure, mustered up courage and hope enough to seek help!  Steve is FINALLY living in the freshest chamber of his heart !
PS.  Mom and Dad just stopped by to visit a bit.  Among things shared, they had to tell me that for the past two Sundays (since the "miracle") Steve went to church!  He is running again (even in the cold and icy pavement!).  Thanks be to God!  Amen

 I met a very special man 11 (ish) years ago. Though words cannot explain it, I felt a Spiritual connection at our first meeting.  Roughly, 9 years ago I read John O'Donohue's book entitled Anam Cara.  This book "put into words" the relationship my soul had and still has with him.  My Path and his do not often cross (physically) ... But  (Spiritually) I do not go anywhere without him.  For God so loved me, He blessed me with my Anam Cara ... And, for this gift, I am soooo thankful!  Namaste
